Bangladesh Mobile Healthcare Clinic

Our mobile healthcare clinic, established in partnership with the Assenting Action for Changing of Livelihoods Trust (AACHOL), is one way we are seeking to make a difference in Bangladesh, where it is acknowledged there is much work to be done.

Targeting some of the country’s most impoverished areas, the initiative aims to help break down the barriers traditionally faced by vulnerable communities in accessing and paying for medical treatment.

With the country’s healthcare focus distinctly on post-disease treatment, the clinic also provides an important education and prevention service. By equipping patients with information on basic hygiene and sanitation, people are empowered to keep themselves and their family in better health.

Over 26,000 people have been provided with access to free medical treatment and advice since the clinic’s establishment in early 2014 with thousands continuing to be treated each month.
