Group makes LinkedIn Top Companies list

People first: team members in Geelong HQ

After an exciting few months, including recognition in a number of industry awards, the 10th birthday of its brand Cotton On Body and the opening of a new Supré hub in Melbourne, the Cotton On Group is now proud to have been placed in LinkedIn’s 2017 Top Companies list for Australia – a celebration of the most sought after companies by professional job-seekers.

The Top Companies list leverages exclusive LinkedIn data drawn from job seekers’ actions on the platform to rank businesses from across the country.

If you ask Ali Higgins, Group Careers Manager, the Cotton On Group’s inclusion comes as a result of its focus on providing a motivational, fun and supportive workplace that prioritises its people and their development.

“We have a strong ‘people first’ approach which influences every decision we make. This includes everything from global opportunities and professional development programs, to giving our teams access to world-class spaces like our new Supré hub in Melbourne – or a slide in the Cotton On KIDS building at Geelong head office,” Ali said.

Alongside filling positions across its retail, head office and distribution teams, in the past year the Cotton On Group has also launched its first ever graduate program, providing 13 university grads with the opportunity to develop their skills in the planning and merchandise fields.

But the Group isn’t one for settling; through continual engagement with its team in the form of initiatives such as the twice-yearly engagement survey, the company constantly strives to have a positive impact on its people and offer an inspiring environment to work and grow.
