Cotton On Body Seeks World-Class Leader

The Cotton On Group is embarking on an international search to find a world-class leader to take on the role of Global General Manager - Cotton On Body, leading a global team of 950 people.

The newly appointed leader will have an enthusiastic and hard working team at the ready to help drive the brand strategy. The position represents an exciting opportunity to join one of the fastest growing fashion retailers in the world and set the agenda in an emerging retail category.

Since its launch in 2007, Cotton On Body has been led by retail experts who have intrinsically understood the brand, its customer and the growing demand for fun and affordable active wear.

It’s an exciting time for the Body brand, expanding and cementing itself in the lifestyle space by delivering on trend, value products that customers globally are responding to.

In a highly competitive category amongst a number of big retail players, Body has succeeded in establishing itself as a trail blazer in the space, emerging as a key contender with a growing store footprint and loyal customer base.

Now with 102 standalone stores across Australia, NZ, Singapore and South Africa, the brand continues to perform strongly, achieving an average annual growth of 21% since 2012.

The Cotton On Group has a strong track record of attracting world class talent to its team to drive brand growth and contribute to the broader success of the business.

Building on its reputation as an international employer of choice, the Group has succeeded in recruiting industry leaders to its team by creating a dynamic and engaging work environment. The establishment of initiatives such as COG Uni (the Group’s $30M education platform) and an extensive Health + Wellbeing program, have all been designed to encourage the development and growth of the Group’s people.

An innovative approach to its international operations and growth strategy is further cementing the Group’s position as an attractive prospect for retail talent.  World class leaders have seized the opportunity to join one of the fastest growing retailers globally and play their part in strengthening the Group’s position in the market, one that has been successfully carved out as a result of the business’ unique innovation pipeline.

The Cotton On Group’s team of brand leaders are dedicated and passionate, working tirelessly with their teams to deliver the products and service its customers have come to expect in each of its 17 international markets.

The Global General Manager of Cotton On Body will be responsible for managing all aspects of the brand’s operations and will be instrumental in leading the Body team to deliver an aggressive national and international growth plan.

With demonstrated experience in the apparel, consumer goods or lifestyle product industries, and a significant experience at the executive level, the Global General Manager will exemplify the values of the Cotton On Group and lead a high performing team of motivated, strategic thinkers.
