What we do

Run Geelong event

The Cotton On Group’s Run Australia initiative mobilises communities and provides a platform for them to raise money for children’s health causes in their own backyard.

All while getting out and doing something active.  We partner with local organisations across the country to put on incredible events where entire communities come together to run, walk or roll to raise as much money as possible to improve resources assisting in their local children’s health. 100 per cent of the money raised
goes straight to the cause and it stays 100 per cent local.

What have we achieved?

Since 2009, the Run Australia communities have completed the following projects:

  • Redevelopment of the Children’s Ward at Geelong Hospital
  • Redevelopment of the Special Care Nursery at Geelong Hospital
  • Refurbishment of the Adolescent Ward at John Hunter Children’s Hospital, Newcastle
  • Redevelopment of the Illawarra Shoalhaven Child Assessment Unit

We’re also thrilled to announce we have raised enough money for works to begin on the following projects:

  • Refurbishment of the Maternity Day Stay at Geelong Hospital
  • Refurbishment of the Maternity Ward at Geelong Hospital
  • Redevelopment of the Children’s Ward at Ballarat Hospital

Why are we different?

100 per cent of every registration fee goes
directly to the local cause.

We support local causes that have tangible 3-5 year outcomes. We run community events for local people of all abilities, providing them with the platform to raise money for local projects. Our events are run in regional centres with a population of 60,000+.
