The Unite Project raises funds through the sale of bottled water, merchandise and event partnerships that go toward ending youth homelessness in Australia.

We focus on supporting charities that address four issues that have been identified as major contributors to youth homelessness: domestic violence, mental health issues, drug and alcohol addiction, and poverty. We work with our community partners to raise the funds required to support the work of our charity partners, and aim to both prevent young people from becoming homeless and support those who are already experiencing homelessness.

The Unite Project joined forces with Australian companies Emma and Tom’s, Deakin University and Swinburne University to help share the The Unite Project’s vision.

Through our individual partnerships with Deakin University and Swinburne University, a clothing and accessories line for students was created and the proceeds of each range go directly to The Unite Project.

Our close partnership with food and drinks brand Emma and Tom’s allows us to broaden the distribution of The Unite Project’s bottled water, to vendors around Australia that stock Emma and Tom’s beverages.

Charity partnerships

The Unite Project Deakin partnership

We sell great product and contribute funds to leading organisations working to end youth homelessness in Australia.

Here’s what we’ve achieved so far:

  • Committed to funding 9 Australian projects that directly address youth homelessness and assist partners working in the space of our four pillars.
  • Maintained a local connection with these projects by operating in the communities where we live and work, generating income in cities such as Geelong, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide.
  • Stocked The Unite Project water in over 200 locations around Geelong and 600 cafes around Australia.

We currently work directly with non-for-profit organisation Ladder, who helps young people aged 16 – 25 break the cycle of homelessness by giving them tools to take control of their lives, transition to independence and achieve their potential. Another close partnership is with The Salvation Army who are the human face of help; they work towards creating a better future and transforming the lives of those in need.
