South Africa | Little Lions

Introducing Little Lions – one of two mental health partners in South Africa.

Little Lions strengthens mental health support across Cape Town and the Western Cape by engaging children and families through interactive workshops, empowering local role models as advocates, and building collaboration with community.

In schools, they spark open conversations about wellbeing through theatre, and train youth facilitators from under-resourced areas.

New Zealand | Voices of Hope

Voices of Hope (VoH) 🇳🇿 is a New Zealand-based organisation and part of our Mental Health Collective, dedicated to sharing lived experiences to improve understanding of mental health.

VoH was founded in 2017 by Genevieve Mora and Jazz Thornton, both of whom have personally navigated mental health challenges. Using their experiences and passion for storytelling, they’ve built a new narrative around mental health—one that’s honest, empowering, and inclusive.

Over the years, VoH has grown into a vibrant community across Aotearoa and the world, bringing people together to contribute to the evolving conversation around mental health.

Both founders actively speak at schools, corporations, and conferences, openly sharing their lived experiences to inspire, educate, and foster empathy. Their mission is to encourage understanding, promote help-seeking behaviours, and spread hope.

Through VoH, community members connect, share resources, and support one another—creating a movement that’s helping to shift the way we think and talk about mental health 💙
