Supporting Joanne Ciconte as she becomes the youngest driver accepted into the F1 Academy in 2025.

Australian race car driver and Cotton On’s newest ambassador, Joanne Ciconte, has made Australian motorsport history as she enters the Formula 1 Academy as the youngest driver accepted this year. The 16-year-old Formula 4 driver has already amassed an impressive career, including winning the Australian Karting Championship Pink Plate in 2023 and being a finalist in the FIA Girls on Track Rising Stars.

Cotton On is thrilled to partner with Joanne as she builds her brand on and off the track. Supporting from the sidelines, telling her story, helping Joanne be at her best and driving inspiration for the next generation.

Joanne admits she has been a long-time customer of Cotton On, and the partnership feels like an authentic alignment.

“I am thrilled to partner with Cotton On for my next chapter,” says Joanne. “It’s surreal; I’ve always been a fan of their product – 80% of my wardrobe is Cotton On! – and now I’m part of the team.”

Joanne has already visited our Global Support Centre to meet her team across womenswear, working with the design team to create her trackside wardrobe and featuring in the brand’s new season product photoshoot at our in-house studio.

We’re no stranger to supporting young Australian athletes; with long-term partnerships with professional tennis player, Thanasi Kokkinakis, Olympic boxer, Tyla McDonald, and AFL star, Bailey Smith.
