2026 Global Impact Summit

14th August, 2026

The 2026 Impact Summit in Sydney brought together leaders from philanthropy, business, government, investment and the social sector to explore how collaboration can drive greater social and environmental impact. Across two days, discussions focused on impact investing, systems change, climate resilience and the growing importance of partnerships in creating sustainable outcomes.

A consistent message emerged throughout the Summit: meaningful change happens when organisations work together, combining expertise, resources and shared purpose to address complex challenges. One of the standout moments came from Mike Gore, Founder of the Impact Summit, who reminded attendees that “generosity is a universal language.” His message reinforced that while strategies, funding models and partnerships are essential, lasting impact begins with a genuine commitment to people and communities.

Day 1 evening event, Impact Live, hosted by Foundation’s own Tim and Logan, was a time to celebrate the power of purpose through music and storytelling. Featuring Grent Perez, Benee, Sam Weidenhofer, and Guy, Jules and Chris Sebastian, the event reinforced the idea that inspiring change is about connecting people through shared values, hope and action.

Many of the Summit’s themes reflect the way the Cotton On Foundation approaches its work. Our commitment to creating long-term change through education, mental health, environmental and community partnerships align closely with the focus on collaboration, trust and measurable impact.

Reflecting on the event, Tim shared:

“With a lot of Australia’s corporate, philanthropic organisations and charities showing up to the Summit, it was such an amazing opportunity to share the Cotton On Foundation story and our impact over the past 19 years. One of the greatest takeaways from the Impact Summit was the chance to connect with incredible organisations committed to making a difference. When passionate people come together, conversations become collaboration that can create extraordinary outcomes for communities around the world.

It was also a bonus to have 7 passionate Cotton On retail team members join the Impact Live event after volunteering their time to cover the State theatre with Foundation tote bags which included Foundation product as giveaways. To be involved and see Foundation on such a big stage was a proud moment for everyone.
