PARTNERING WITH STRONG BROTHER STRONG SISTER

5th July, 2021

Cotton On Foundation has partnered with community organisations in Australia since 2013, placing a strong focus on community-led initiatives that support positive shifts in youth wellbeing.

This NAIDOC, Cotton On Foundation is extremely proud to announce a new Australian partnership with Strong Brother Strong Sister. A 100% Aboriginal owned and operated organisation.

Strong Brother Strong Sister was founded in 2017 by Cormach Evans, and provides a culturally safe place for young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to access and thrive. The organisation is led by an incredible team of young Aboriginal people that design, advocate and inform the programs, services and much more, to ensure that the company is genuinely Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander youth led and designed.

Offering a range of Mentoring Programs and Youth Groups both online and in person, Cotton On Foundation will work to support Strong Brother Strong Sister with funds and in-kind support for key infrastructure. This will include a new youth hub office space in Geelong, vehicles, and in the delivery of regular Youth Groups, 1:1 Mentoring Sessions, access to Suicide Prevention Programs and a Family Support Program for young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in the Greater Geelong region (Wadawurrung Country).

The Strong Brother Strong Sister structure and programs are designed to help guide, mentor and empower young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to achieve excellence, and improve their health and wellbeing.

100% of proceeds from the sale of Cotton On Foundation items support our projects in Uganda, South Africa, Thailand and Australia. Find Strong Brother Strong Sister on instagram by clicking here
