Cotton On Foundation launches Christmas giving initiative
22nd November, 2017
The Cotton On Foundation is bringing new meaning to the spirit of Christmas with the introduction of its gift giving initiative Gifts That Count.
Gifts That Count invites customers to purchase one of five enamel pins, each representing one of several life changing items for children in Southern Uganda. The purchase of a pin will provide: a child with books and pencils for school, a mosquito net for a safer sleeping environment, meals for an entire school term, clean drinking water, or a bike to help with the journey to and from school.
Cotton On Foundation General Manager, Tim Diamond spoke of the Foundation’s commitment to this pledge, saying:
“We are 100% committed to providing tangible outcomes as a result of this initiative. For every bike pin we sell we will be gifting a bike to a child in need, likewise for the other pins in the range.”
Tim says Gifts That Count makes it easier for socially conscious customers to purchase meaningful gifts this Christmas.
“Our purpose is to empower youth through quality education and we can never underestimate the power that these individual contributions make,” Tim said.
The pins are available for purchase in selected Cotton On and Cotton On Mega stores and online in Australia, New Zealand and the United States.
