Cotton On Foundation Donates $1.75 Million to Help Bring Barwon Women’s and Children’s Precinct to Life
10th July, 2026
In recognition of this transformational contribution, the Children’s Ward and Special Care Nursery at University Hospital Geelong will be named in honour of the Cotton On Foundation.
Supporting this important project is deeply meaningful for the Cotton On business, team and its local customers. Geelong is where Cotton On’s story began in 1991, and the region remains at the heart of the business today. As the business has grown, Cotton On has made a conscious decision to keep its Global Support Centre in Geelong, maintaining a strong connection to the region and community.

For many team members, Geelong is home. It is where they have grown up, built their lives and raised their families, making this contribution an opportunity to give back to a community that has supported Cotton On for more than three decades.
The donation builds on a longstanding partnership between Cotton On Foundation and Barwon Health Foundation that spans more than 15 years.
“Being able to contribute to the next chapter of the Barwon Women’s and Children’s precinct is an incredibly meaningful way for us to give back to the community that has given so much to us,” said Tim Diamond, General Manager of Cotton On Foundation.

“Our purpose is to make a positive difference in people’s lives, and this precinct will support generations of local families for years to come.”
The strength of the Geelong community was on display at Barwon Health Foundation Gala Ball, held at Nyaal Banyul Geelong Convention and Event Centre, where more than $10 million was raised to support the Barwon Health Foundation.
This extraordinary result reflects the power of community, partnership and a shared commitment to creating better health outcomes for local families.
Cotton On Foundation is proud to stand alongside Barwon Health Foundation and everyone who has helped make this vision a reality, creating a lasting legacy of care for generations to come.
