GROUP ANNOUNCES FURTHER INVESTMENT

As one of Australia’s largest global fashion brands, today the Group has announced a further expansion of our Avalon distribution facility, which was opened in 2018. The 35,000 sqm purpose built centre is our Australian distribution base and services both online customers and stores.

The continued investment is designed to ensure our customers continue to enjoy the best possible experience. We’ve seen incredible sustained growth in our online performance and this expansion will continue to service 7 million ‘Perks’ loyalty program members.

The Cotton On Group, is driven by an obsession with giving our customers the best possible experience. This facility was designed with a growth footprint in mind, and we are delighted that now is the time to execute on that plan.” CFO, Michael Hardwick.

Excitingly, the expansion will create capacity for up to an additional 100 jobs as the development will take the overall space to 45,000 sqm and will be built in partnership with LinFox.

We were thrilled to share the news today at Avalon as Treasurer, The Honourable Josh Frydenberg, MP along with other dignitaries, a LinFox representative and Cotton On Group executive team members toured the facility.
