A new Melbourne hub for Supré
11th May, 2017
As the Cotton On Group continues to grow its Australian team, it is celebrating the opening of a new purpose-built Melbourne hub located at Chadstone Shopping Centre – the biggest retail mecca in the Southern Hemisphere.
While providing flexibility for the company’s Geelong-based workforce and a closer connection to the best of Melbourne’s retail and fashion culture, the office will also be the permanent home for the 57-strong team of the Supré brand.
The hub was designed and brought to life in close consultation with the Supré team, and is a great representation of the brand, balanced with touches of the Cotton On Group and the culture of the existing North Geelong head office. Affectionately labeled the ‘Club House’, the development plays a role in future-proofing and redefining both Supré and the Group, and signifies an exciting next step in the company’s journey.
Supré General Manager, Elle Roseby, is excited by the prospect of a dedicated space.
“Our new Club House not only puts us on the doorstep of the Southern Hemisphere’s premier retail precinct, but it also gives us the opportunity to truly evolve our own creative space while building on the existing Cotton On Group culture. I can’t thank the team behind the design and functionality of our new space enough, and I’m excited for what this means for the future growth of Supré,” Elle said.
The Supré team will remain connected with Geelong through flexible working arrangements and technology, and they will join the Geelong team for monthly BBQs and other event days. In addition, the Melbourne-based hub will have a range of flexible working areas, hot desks and meeting rooms available for the benefit of the broader Cotton On Group team – both those working from Geelong and any visiting international team members.
The Group focuses on providing flexible, engaging and motivating work spaces for its world-class team and features of the new office include an open-plan kitchenette, mindfulness zones, a designated ‘new ideas’ brainstorming area called Tomorrowland and lounge areas.
