Our next school build: Kamazzi Primary School
22nd January, 2026

Kamazzi Primary School in Southern Uganda is ready for a transformation. The school currently has four rundown classrooms, a small administration block, and limited toilets, making it hard for children to learn in a safe, inspiring environment.
Currently, 260 students are enrolled, but many children in the community are not yet attending. Once renovated, Kamazzi will be able to accommodate 500 students, with modern classrooms and facilities including a dignified toilet block, clean drinking water, a school feeding program, and safe playgrounds.
The school already benefits from six passionate government-supported teachers and a parent-run feeding program, helping ensure children are supported both in and out of the classroom. With a nearby government-supported secondary school, students have a clear pathway to continue their education.
Kamazzi has been carefully assessed by the Cotton On Foundation team and earmarked for development. With your support, we’re not just building classrooms—we’re improving teacher training, increasing student retention, and giving children the tools to thrive.
Here from our Country Manager Clare Najjemba on what this school means to the students, teachers and community.
Every Cotton On Foundation purchase or donation in store and online helps bring quality education to more students and inspires the next generation of leaders in eastern Uganda.
