Supporting and celebrating our people in 2020

We all know it’s been a huge year so far and at the Cotton On Group we’re incredibly grateful for the contribution every single one of our team members globally has made to our business. Together, we’ve worked our way through everything that Covid-19 has thrown at us – our way.

The wellbeing of our team members is our number one priority and we’ve worked hard to keep our teams feeling connected and inspired through some of the toughest times we’ve seen – no matter where in the world they are working from.

While we may be physically distant, in some ways 2020 has brought our global workforce of 22,000 team members feel just that little bit closer than we ever have before.

We can’t even begin to describe how proud we are of our people. From support centres to distribution and in stores, our global teams have proven time and time again that here at COG we’re more than just team mates, we’re a global family and we stick together.

We’re a group of people that love being together. Our work mates are our real mates – so connectivity has been the driving force behind the way we’ve pivoted to meet the changing needs of our people when it comes to working together.

One of the ways we’ve been able to celebrate and connect with our people is through the announcement of our latest Employee of the Quarter awards. This quarter, we celebrated some pretty inspirational team members online who have been able to uphold the Group’s values through some really tough times. These awesome Cotton On Group team members have been able to go above and beyond what we ask of them and in true COG spirit lift up the people around them so that we can all get through 2020 together.

Over 300 individuals and entire teams were nominated by their peers, with 26 selected for the final award.

As we learn to live in an ever-changing world, we’ll continue to put our people first, celebrate the wins and look out for our mates – after all, that’s the COG way.

    Since launching the three new partnerships in July, customers and team members from the Supré community have helped raise donations through product purchased and sold from the Supré Foundation range, which included a newly created collection of face masks and hand sanitisers to reflect everyday essential items for the current COVID-19 environment.
