Three New Marketplace Partnerships

Three New Partners: Cotton On Group partners with Macy's, The Market and Walmart

To meet the needs of today’s consumers, the Cotton On Group is ever evolving the platforms in which product can be purchased, in a move to ensure our customer can access Cotton On Group product wherever they are shopping.

Going beyond Cotton On Group stores, we now partner and trade with 20 external marketplace organisations, with seven of these signing on within the last 12 months.

This wholesale market is fast becoming one of the Group’s largest revenue streams, with the expectation that it will eclipse Cotton On eCommerce site’s own yearly sales by the year 2021. It’s an area that allows us to remain relevant for our existing customer, while reaching into untapped audiences with low risk entry into completely new regions.

This is why we’re proud to announce that later this month, Cotton On Group product will be available online at The Market in New Zealand, and Walmart and Macy’s in the United States, attracting over 100 million customers weekly across their websites!

The Group is energized by the growth in this area of the business, with eight more marketplace partnerships hoping to join in by the end of the year.

Wholesale and Marketplace Commercial Manager, Matt Ross said, “our customer is quickly adopting online marketplaces and we know why; choice, choice and more choice. In keeping with our customer-centric mindset it’s crucial that we’re among her options, wherever she happens to be shopping.”
