Meet Satellite Foundation

Satellite Foundation is a not-for-profit located in Melbourne, Australia. Its goal is to help young people amplify their voices and experiences of mental health through creative expression and connections.

As one of Born This Way Foundation’s 2024 Kindness in Community Grant recipients, Satellite has expanded the reach of its Zine ‘All the Coloured Glasses’ series.

This series is an ever-evolving creative project that allows individuals to share their voices, stories, and art with the broader world. The theme? Mental health and wellbeing.

The goal of the Zine is to remove stigma, foster empathy, and work towards changing awareness and advocacy by engaging with young people’s experiences.

Sound like something you’d be interested in? Submissions for the next edition of ‘All the Coloured Glasses’ are now open. Satellite Foundation are looking for writing, poetry, drawing, photography, collages and quotes that explore your experiences navigating the complex world of mental health – and they’d love to include your artwork in the collection.
