Loyalty has its Perks
5th October, 2017
Last week, Auckland’s Sylvia Park shopping centre (the biggest in New Zealand) transformed into a Perkalicious palace of prizes and giveaways as Cotton On Group launched its first ever loyalty program, CottonOn & Co Perks.
Customers who sign up to the program will find loads to love from day one, including a $10 Welcome Perk, Perks for their birthday, previews to sales and the ability to earn unlimited $10 Perks Payday vouchers for every $100 spent across our seven brands, in-store and online, over 12 months.
Perks will also help change lives with 10 cents from every member purchase being donated to the Cotton On Foundation and their Supré and Factorie partners.
The Sylvia Park launch event was supported by in-store activations across brands, including a DJ in Cotton On BODY, popcorn and fairy floss in Cotton On KIDS, journal embossing in Typo, cupcakes in Supre and free personalization in our CottonOn & Co mega stores.
Shoppers queued up to play retro arcade claw machines, picking out awesome prizes that included stationery and accessories, gift cards up to NZ$500 and a Perktastic NZ$2,000 travel voucher.
Our amazing retail team members really got behind the push to sign up customers to Perks and have attracted almost 37,000 new members to the program in its first week.
New Zealand Country Manager, Kerry Ashford says launching CottonOn & Co Perks in New Zealand has been exciting for everyone involved:
It’s been great to see our teams across the country embracing Perks and the benefits it brings to our customers. As a customer-first business, we’re always looking for opportunities to elevate their experience and Perks does just that by offering a new level of exclusivity for our customers.
Kerry adds: “The stores are all Perked up, the cards, posters and other in-store collateral looks amazing and every team member has joined the ‘team NZ’ drive to sign up every shopper. This sets us up for a really exciting Peak season. I’m really proud of the team effort!”
