It’s good to be back
22nd May, 2020
We’re thrilled to see Australia and many of our global markets flattening the Coronavirus curve and we’re beyond excited to welcome our team and customers back in stores
As a global retailer, COVID-19 has significantly impacted the way we do business, with 90 percent of our global store footprint closed since early-March.
Like many businesses, the last three months has brought many new and different challenges – for our business, our people, and our customers – and we’ve learned a lot about ourselves along the way.
We’ve steadied the ship through daily global briefings with our leadership team where our values and ethical framework have continued to guide all of our decision making.
As a people First business, we’ve been focused on supporting our teams to ensure they stay connected to each other and the business, while continuing to give our customers an amazing experience from the comfort of their homes.
We’re thrilled that the doors to our fleet are starting to re-open with Vietnam, Namibia, South Africa, Australia, Malaysia, Botswana, New Zealand, USA and Thailand back on board, and our other markets not far away!
As we enter this new world what’s more important than ever is that our team and customers feel safe and we’re taking a cautious approach to ensure their health and safety remains our top priority
In line with advice from government and health experts, we’ve introduced enhanced safety measures including reduced store opening hours, restricting the number of people in store, hand sanitation stations, contactless payment options and more.
The last few months have challenged us all in many different ways and we’re incredibly proud of our global team for coming together to find new and innovative ways to continue giving our customer an awesome experience.
A huge thank you to our team and customers for your continued support through this period – it’s so good to be back.
