Cotton On Group wins retailer awards

13th April, 2017

The Cotton On Group has been recognised for its continued efforts across customer experience and ethical retailing, winning two categories in the recent Inside Retail 2017 Retailer Awards: the ‘Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative of the Year Award’ and ‘Customer Excellence Team Initiative of the Year Award’.

Now in its second year, the 2017 Retailer Awards presented by Dashing showcase the very best of Australian retail. Judged by an industry panel under strict criteria, the awards are held in high regard and backed by Australian retail media outlet, Inside Retail.

The awards recognise the Cotton On Group’s philanthropic achievements through the Cotton On Foundation’s global projects, as well as its work in the ethical space through its sustainable cotton programs and supply chain initiatives. They are also testament to the company’s focus on engaging and educating its customer service team in order to positively impact customer satisfaction, as well as the methods used to evaluate this satisfaction and how it is employed to drive product and service improvements.

Alongside the Retailer Awards win, the Cotton On Group was proud to be a finalist in the Retailer of the Year award – presented at the recent World Retail Congress in Dubai. This award recognises companies that demonstrate world-class operations across all areas of the business. The Group was one of six finalists that also included Action, Amazon, Inditex, Walmart and Zalando with Amazon taking out the award.
