Outside perspective: a reporter’s words on Uganda
2nd December, 2017
During a recent visit to Southern Uganda in south-east Africa alongside the Cotton On Group’s philanthropic arm, the Cotton On Foundation, Australian journalist Chantelle Schmidt experienced exactly what it is that the Foundation does across their global project areas.
While on the six-day-long trip, Chantelle visited a number of the Cotton On Foundation’s projects including the Kasomolo, Mannya and Kyalulangira schools as well as health care centres and the Ross Langdon HIV Education Centre. All these facilities have been made possible thanks to the work of the Cotton On Foundation and most importantly, the support of our team members and customers over the past 10 years through the purchase of Foundation products.
Upon returning from her unforgettable trip, Chantelle shared her Africa experience and her newfound passion for what the Cotton On Foundation does; creating quality educational places through the purchase of practical products including water bottles, tote bags, tissues and mints.
Within her article, Chantelle says of her trip to Southern Uganda,
“If I came to Uganda for perspective well, by god I got it.”
