Team New Zealand:

STAMPING OUT BULLYING AND SPREADING KINDNESS

19th May, 2021

Speak Up. Stand Together. Stop Bullying. For the third year running, Cotton On has partnered with Mental Health Foundation NZ (MHF) to help stamp out bullying through funds raised from the sale of pink shirts for the region’s annual Pink Shirt Day celebration.

As a company that’s driven by making a positive difference in people’s lives, our Community Partnerships programs are something we’re really proud of. We’re now recognised as the exclusive retail partner of the MHF’s anti-bullying campaign – Pink Shirt Day – which is focused on supporting mental health, specifically through stamping out bullying in schools and workplaces.

The MHF uses Pink Shirt Day, held on Friday 21 May this year, to raise awareness and understanding of the prevalence and impact of bullying on people’s mental health and wellbeing. Each year, Cotton On produces the pink shirts and sells them online at cottonon.com/NZ and in selected New Zealand Cotton On and Cotton On Kids stores, contributing 100% of net proceeds from each and every sale towards supporting the MHF’s mission.

The pink shirt, which was this year designed by one of Cotton On Group’s own New Zealand team members, emphasises MHF’s motto of: Speak Up, Stand Together, Stop Bullying. Making the message loud and clear.

Join us in supporting Pink Shirt Day by going pink, or māwhero, on Friday 21 May 2021.
