From an early age, our founder Nigel grew up travelling to China with his father who owned an apparel wholesale business in Geelong, Australia. An innate understanding of the garment manufacturing industry, coupled with strong family values, meant Nigel was committed to ensuring we operate ethically and with integrity.

Nigel’s vision for the business has led to the creation of our Ethical Sourcing Program, including our 14 Rules to Trade, which guides and governs the sourcing, manufacturing and supply of all products. His decision to move to a direct sourcing model in 1997 means our Ethical Sourcing Program is underpinned by the strong and long-standing relationships we have built with suppliers over the last 20 years.

As a global fashion retailer, we know our responsibility goes far beyond selling great product; when it comes to sustainability, we have big goals.

Today, under Nigel’s guidance, our business is focused on three areas where we know we can have the biggest impact. These areas include: Reducing our impact on the environment, sourcing recycled and sustainable materials throughout our business and improving the livelihoods of every person involved in our supply chain.

Across all areas of our business, we’re on a journey, and that journey is about doing good. For the things that matter most.

We know there’s always more work to be done, but we’ve never been one to back away from a challenge.

This is just the beginning. We’re committed to this journey for good.
