From an early age, our founder Nigel grew up travelling to China with his father who owned an apparel wholesale business in Geelong, Australia. An innate understanding of the garment manufacturing industry, coupled with strong family values, meant Nigel was committed to ensuring we operate ethically and with integrity.

Nigel’s vision for the business has led to the creation of our Ethical Sourcing Program, including our 14 Rules to Trade, which guides and governs the sourcing, manufacturing and supply of all products. His decision to move to a direct sourcing model in 1997 means our Ethical Sourcing Program is underpinned by the strong and long-standing relationships we have built with suppliers over the last 20 years.

Today under Nigel’s guidance, the business has a major focus on traceability. We’re committed to end-to-end mapping of our entire supply chain and have been working hand-in-hand with  suppliers to understand in greater detail where and how our products are made.

The ability to operate responsibly and build trust with the customer is underpinned by having an in-depth understanding of the entire supply chain.  With the customer always front of mind, we are proud to have taken these efforts one step further by publicly disclosing the details of our supplier base – with the goal to have full disclosure.
