Cotton On named in Australia’s top corporate givers

As a business built on purpose, our decisions are aligned to one common outcome – to make a positive difference in people’s lives. With stores all over the world, we work together with our team and customer to ensure we’re creating an impact on the causes that matter most to them.

Recently, Tim Diamond, the General Manager of Cotton On Foundation, spoke to the Australian Financial Review about Cotton On Foundation’s journey to becoming one of Australia’s top 20 corporate givers.

“[For young people] you have to make giving easy. We don’t ask for $50 or $100 donations. It’s an average of $3 that they contribute. Also, every three years we survey our customers to understand what causes matter most to them,” says Tim.

The survey results underpin our strategy and become our impact pillars which align with our fundraising model. The model is unique but simple: life-changing products sold online or through our stores worldwide, with 100% of proceeds dedicated to global projects across education, mental health and the environment.

Over the next three years, we predict Cotton On Foundation will raise approximately AU$70 million. Helping to create a world where every young person can thrive and allowing us to continue to drive positive change in our communities across the globe – doing more Good.
